Few men could possibly feel as lucky as Cem Tokac does today.
The Turkish haulier was caught on this newly-released CCTV footage being hit by a truck - which had just, in turn, been struck by a goods train - and yet, he somehow survived with only cuts and bruises.
The incident happened as the 32-year-old was waiting by the tracks for the train to make a delivery to his workplace.
The truck can be seen crossing in front of the train as it approaches, colliding with it and then careering sideways straight into Mr Tokac.
As the truck, whose driver also sustained only minor injuries, continued to career out of the picture, colleagues of Mr Tokac rushed to his motionless body, convinced he had died.
Later, however, he woke with only cuts and bruises.
"I don't remember anything about the incident - I thought I was sleeping," he said. "But when I woke up I found myself not in bed, but on the concrete."
The footage was released yesterday, but the incident in question happened on February 25 - a day Tokac has now named as his new birthday.
"Life is really beautiful," he said.
