At just 3ft 1ins tall, Amanda Moore, Britain's smallest mum, must have known it would not be long before her son was taller than her.But after the rare bone disease which limited her height, also left her unable to stand, 14-month-old Aidan already is.
The 2ft 6ins tot towers above his 25-year-old mom when they are playing together - and she says his size can make him quite a handful.
It's now thought not-so-little Aidan - who did not inherit the disease - could end up closer to his Dad Steven's lanky 6ft 1ins.
Amanda says they are now looking at how she will cope moving him around the house when Steven is at work… she added that he will never be too big for a telling off from his mum." Amanda, who suffers from osteogenesis imperfecta and gave birth by caesarean section last year, said: "I always knew he would be taller than me but he’s shot up.
"When I sit on the floor to play with him, he is taller than me already and he’s only 14 months old.
"He's getting so big and strong that soon we’ll have to tell him to be gentle with mummy."
