Guesthouse bosses can’t wait to show off their flush new five-star rooms – made entirely of giant sewer pipes.‘The only drawback is that, ironically, there’s no shower or loo and you have to go to a different pipe for the shared bathroom,’ said a guest at Park Hotel in Ottensheim.
Another guest seemed entirely happy with their choice, saying: 'They're surprisingly cosy with a nice snug bed and good storage.'
A hotel spokesman said: 'We think people like the idea of something new. We try to keep things as private as possible.
'Guests book online and are given a pin that opens the room door but only on the day they've booked.'
